What is the Teen Advisory Board?
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
is a chance for teens to participate in and influence teen services at the
Chesterfield Township Library.
Let YOUR voice be heard!
Plus, involvement in
TAB
looks great on resumes and college applications.
Who can join?
Anyone in Grades 6-12 with a sincere interest in improving teen library services.
When
do we meet?
TAB meets the first Monday of every
month. It's never to late to join!
How
much time will it involve?
The
TAB
will involve one hour a month for a meeting and any time you choose to
devote to reviews, program committees, or other
TAB
activities.
What
do we do?
The
TAB
meets to plan and organize exciting teen programs, discuss books, movies,
music and websites! Members also spearhead other efforts to promote teen use
of library resources.
What are the membership requirements?
Grade 6-12
Able to attend monthly meetings
Willing
to participate in
TAB discussions and activities
Willing to respect the tastes, privacy and opinions of others
