The Macomb County Parks & Recreation is home at Freedom Hill County Park, located in Sterling Heights on Metropolitan Parkway between Schoenherr & Utica roads. The park is operated by the Macomb County Parks and Recreation Commission.

Due to its convenient location, residents of Macomb County enjoy the park's spacious, lean grounds and unique events on a regular basis. Freedom Hill is the host to numerous public events including: ethnic festivals, special shows, dances and concerts at the amphitheater.

The park also houses a large banquet center which can be utilized for weddings, graduations, showers or business events such as corporate meetings or retirement parties.
