Our Mission...

Freedom Hill's mission is to provide Macomb County residents, their family and friends with a clean, spacious 100 acre park, many special events, and the finest banquet facilities for all to enjoy. We are located in the heart of Macomb County, minutes from the freeways making Freedom Hill the ideal place for family play, social entertaining and business.

Services We Offer...

Amphitheater - The amphitheater has a covered stage area and paved area in front of the stage. The hill accommodates 12,000 for lawn seating for concerts under the amphitheater. For upcoming events see special events page.

Banquet Facilities- Known as "Macomb County's Best Kept Secret," Freedom Hill's Banquet Center has been hosting showers, weddings, and every other kind of special event for years. The Bicentennial Room accommodates 30 to 250 people. Conference rooms are connecting and can house up to 80 people. Full-service catering is put on by Mary Marcinak. Full-service catering offers custom packages, in any style you'd like. From elaborate ice sculptures, gourmet coffees and champagne toast, to simple hot hors' douerves and cocktails, we can tailor your afternoon or evening to fit your taste and budget. Ask us about our ethnic favorites; and, we dare you to forget our desserts!!!

Movies on the Hill - Freedom Hill will be hosting movies Tuesdays all summer long outside at the amphitheater with a theater size screen equipped with high-tech surround sound. Tuesdays will be sponsored by WRIF; Thursdays, once a month, will be sponsored by Q95.5 and Mondays, once a month, will be sponsored by 105.1 The Edge. The gates open at 7 p.m. with entertainment from the radio stations and some live musical groups too. Movies begin at dusk. Spectators can bring blankets, and enjoy refreshments and snacks. $3 admission; $4 parking. Recreational Sports Areas - Freedom Hill has its own outside basketball court and volley ball court. Also available: horse shoes, baseball equipment and bocci balls. There is also a Tot Lot with a slide, climbing apparatus and lots more. The Hike and Bike Trail that goes through Macomb County down Metroparkway also goes through Freedom Hill County Park. Residents are encouraged to use the trail for biking, rollerblading, walking, running and more. While on the park grounds trail goers can enjoy a break on a park bench, use the rest rooms in the Independence Building or stop at the Patio Cafe for some refreshments. Parking is available for trail goers who want to start and finish at Freedom Hill.

Remote Control Track - The Top of the Hill volunteer organization runs the remote control race track at Freedom Hill. Join and become a member of the club or race on your own. Gas races are Saturdays at 11 a.m. and electric races are Sundays at 11 a.m. $15 for club membership; Race admission, $8 members, $10 others. (810) 268-3996.

BMX Track - The Bicycle Motor Cross program at Freedom Hill is santioned by the National Bicycle Leaque and run by volunteers from May through October. The program includes weekly practices and races Thursdays (practice 5 p.m. - 7 p.m) 7:30 p.m. race and Sunday (practice 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.), race 2 p.m.; Race admisision, $8 per race. BMX State Championship Race September 19 & 20, race begins at noon on Sunday. (810) 776-6263.

Military Displays - Freedom Hill is home to several displays including: a tank, aircraft, helicpter, torpedo and more.
