Word
Link Game
Select
a book to read. The next book you read after that must
contain a word from the title of the previous book. Continue
this format and see how many books you can read that are linked.
For example: Painted House by John Grisham; House of Sand
and Fog by Andre Dubus; Carved in Sand by Cathryn Ramin. The
person with the longest link will receive a cassette collection of
12 classic radio shows. Complete eight and receive one entry
in the grand prize drawing for your own personal cassette player
donated by the Macomb Intermediate School District.
Participants reading eight or more books will receive a talking
calculator. Thank you, Joe Slisinger, for recommending this
game.
Word
link begins Feb 19 and ends April 4.
