The R4R music library has music for everyone. LBPH patrons are eligible to select tapes and receive them through the mail. The tapes can be kept and enjoyed for up to 60 days. They are then mailed back to R4R “Free Matter for the Blind” using the provided return label.

If you want to become a member, call 1-800-798-1192. An information pack that includes a catalog, membership information and a large print order form will be sent. Individual memberships are $10.00 per year. Alternative memberships are available for those who cannot afford the annual fee.

FREE BRAILLE BOOKS FROM SEEDLINGS BRAILLE BOOKS

All visually-impaired children are eligible to win one free Braille book per year from Anna’s Book Angel Project. Blind parents are also eligible to win one free book per year to share with their children. Ten children per week are randomly selected to receive one free book from their wish list.  These books are made in loving memory of Anna Kirstina Bonde who was killed by a drunk driver on March 17, 2001. Over 6,000 books have been given to children in Anna’s name, and this project will continue as long as memorial funds permit.

Keep Kids in Touch 2008 provides two free Braille or print-and-braille books for visually impaired children ages 0-18 to help keep them in touch with books & reading over the summer. Registration deadline for this program is May 1.

Simply register using the forms online at www.seedlings.org (in the Special Projects section) or call 1-800-777-8552 or email seedlink@aol.com.
