 Borrowing Library Materials


Material can be borrowed from the Macomb County Reference & Research Center (MCL) with a library card from any Suburban Library Cooperative Library.

Getting a Macomb County library card is an easy process.  MCL library cards are free to all residents of Michigan.

 
  • Fill out a short application available at the circulation desk; anyone under 16 must have a signature of a parent or guardian on the library card application.
  • Present a valid form of identification (such as a driver's license) that shows your current address.

*  The purpose of the library's overdue fines is to encourage return of the library's materials.  You will be given every opportunity to return materials before replacement and processing fees are assessed.
