prints from microfilm of Macomb County Probate records, the $5 service fee
covers up to four pages of the most genealogically important pages of the

Mount Clemens Public Library does not have staff available to conduct genealogical research
for patrons. However, local genealogist Ann Faulkner will perform up to one hour of basic
research in Macomb County sources for a service fee of $5.00. To request a
search from Ann, please address a letter to:
Requests must include a stamped, self-addressed envelope and a
non-refundable check for $5 made payable to Mount Clemens Public Library.
If you have an e-mail address, please include it in your letter. Please
include also a family group sheet or specific names and dates relevant to your
search request, as well as a list of any sources you have already
consulted. Sorry, but Ann cannot do general surname searches with no
specifics provided.
The search fee includes the cost of up to 2 microfilm prints or photocopies. If additional information is located, you will be provided with details of what is available and the cost of further copies.

If your request is for obituary lookups, Erin Township records, or funeral home abstracts (excluding the Schwarzkoff funeral home files which are $4 each), with full citation information from the Macomb County Obituary Index included, the $5 service fee covers prints of up to 4 obituaries. If you do not have citations from the Macomb County Obituary Index, the fee is $5/hour for one lookup. Please be aware that obituaries before 1920 were often only short death notices of one or two lines.
