Teen Scene

Volunteens -Join the MacDonald Public Library Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
TAB
members take a leadership and participatory role in the planning of events, programs & services for teens at the library.

Teens can contribute volunteer hours and help out by working on special projects like the adopt - a -shelf program starting after the Thanksgiving holiday, or helping to organize magazines, DVD's and more.

The library truly appreciated their services to the library and welcomes new faces - Interested teens can contact Mary Jo at the Information Desk or call

 Pre-School and Toddler Storytimes
Autumn is here and toddlers and preschoolers are invited to join us at the library for  fun filled Storytimes this November on Tuesday's  and Wednesday's  at 10:15 & 11:00 am.

Registration required for informational purposes during the library renovation and can be done by phone, in person, or online.


ATLAS (At The Library After School)!!

Still held on the first Wednesday of every month, ATLAS is an after-school program for students in 3rd through 5th grade from 4:30 to 5:15, September - May.

Kidding Around!!

Is a new monthly program for k-2 students held on the second Wednesday of every month September - May from 4:30 to 5:15. Each month we will read a book and do an activity!

  Sit ' N Knit
 

Thinking about making special holiday projects for family and friends this holiday season?  The Sit 'N Knit group meet every Monday morning from 10:00 to 12:00 am in the community room. This is a bring your own project group where new members are always welcome!


Computer Classes at MPL

The Library will not be offering computer classes during the phase one of our construction project -

The library will be upgrading to Office 2007 during this down time, please check back in January of 2010 for new class offerings.

If so, mark your calendar and stop by MacDonald Public Library  on the second Thursday of each month from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM or 6:30 to 8:00 pm for a lively book and often riveting book club discussion as the BOOK BREAK (formerly called Booked For Lunch) book club discusses the following upcoming BOOK BREAK titles :
