I’ve been a Sam Cooke fan for years, but this CD filled in some of the gaps in my collection. From the early 50’s until his untimely death in 1964, these are the songs that defined Cooke’s music.

Young@Heart / The Young@Heart Chorus
DVD
A bittersweet look at an actual chorus comprised of senior citizens ranging in age from their 60’s to 90’s, the music they sing, the colorful personalities that make up the chorus, and their dedicated director. It was a lot of fun to watch for myself, my mom, and even my young children.
