1999 Harvest Home Tour

This years' Harvest Home Tour will be held Sunday, September 19, 1999, from 11:00am to 6:00pm.

The tour will consist of six beautiful historic homes that are fine examples of historic architecture. Styles are Gothic Revival, Victorian, American Four Square, Italianate, Colonial Revival and a turn of the century farmhouse. Also on tour will be the Bancroft-Stranahan Museum, the Clyde Craig Blacksmith Museum and the Romeo Arts and Archives Center ( featuring a vintage clothing exhibit).

Tickets are $12.50 on the day of the tour at the Romeo Arts and Archive Center and the Bancroft-Stranahan Museum, or can be purchased in advance for $10.00 from any of the following Romeo business locations;

• Carriage Trade Antiques
• The Romeo Welcome Center located at 111 Newberry St.
• ...and in Rochester; Harris Street

While in Romeo to tour the historic homes you can also take a carriage ride through the village, listen to the sounds of strolling musicians, and view a Civil War encampment. Other related events during the tour include;
