The Friends of the Romeo District Library is a non-profit organization that stimulates community appreciation of the library's resources and services; encourages gifts and bequests in support of the library and sponsors special programs in cooperation with the library staff. 
Recent contributions to the Library have provided
-Fireplace at new Graubner Library
-Refinished historic desk at Kezar Library
-Display boards for Graubner Library
-Special children's programs
-Summer Reading Club prizes
-Umbrellas in reading gardens
Fund-raising and publicity activities in recent years have included Friends' Preview Gala for new library opening, Labor Day Book Sale, and the time-capsule in the Graubner Library
The Friends meet once a month on the third Tuesday of the month (with exceptions made for holidays, etc.) in the Friends room in the basement of the Kezar Branch Library at 107 Church Street.
