Patron Responsibility

The Shelby Township Library attempts to serve all taxpayers of the community
equally. In order to make available the limited resources of the Library to the
most people, the Library has instituted certain rules and regulations to facilitate
that end. The Library patron has the responsibility of knowing these rules and abiding
by them. The fines at the Library are to encourage prompt return of material
so that others may use it.
