Located northeast of the City of Detroit, Warren is the third largest city in the State of Michigan. The Warren Public Library participates in the Federal Depository Library Program,  and is a member of the Suburban Library Cooperative.  We have four branches located throughout the city.

Registration for all Fall programs, including story times, begins on September 9th.

Check out the  Gale Virtual Reference Library database - a collection of full-text reference books available electronically.

Can't find what you want in the regular library catalog?  MeLCat allows you to search libraries all over Michigan, including University libraries, to find the book you want. All you need is your Warren Public Library card! (Please check the SLC Catalog for availability first!)

NEW!  Digital Audio Books and eBooks.  Take the Download Digital Media Guided Tour of the site and download the software needed to borrow eBooks, digital audio books and more.  (Update:  OverDrive MP3 titles should play on Apple products (iPod , etc.), but  you must use iTunes to transfer files to the device rather than using the OverDrive Media Console Transfer Wizard)

Check the "Supported Portable Audio Devices" link for a complete list of compatible MP3 players.

We participate in the Michicard program.

All four branches of the Warren Public Library are participating in  The Museum Adventure Pass (MAP), presented by Macy’s.   The program provides area library card holders free passes to participating local museums, cultural centers and historical sites.  Just go to the MAP display at your local Warren branch, select the card of the museum or organization you want to visit that week, and check-out to get your free admission pass receipt.   For more information on participating institutions, pick up a free booklet at the MAP display.
