To apply for a Warren Public Library card, a Warren resident will need:

1. Driver's license, State ID, or photo identification. (If your license does not give your current Warren address, you will need TWO items from the list below to confirm your address.These must have your name and address on them.)

- Current utility bill

- Current automobile registration

- Current rent receipt

- Current property tax bill

- Current voter's registration card

2. Application, filled out and signed. (get it here)

FOR CHILDREN:

1. Parent or Legal Guardian with Driver's license, State ID, or photo identification.

2. Application, filled out, and signed by child and parent or legal guardian. (get it here)
(Foster parents may be the responsible person for minors.)

FOR NON-RESIDENT WORKERS AND K-12 STUDENTS:

We can issue nonresidents who work or go to school in the city of Warren a Courtesy Card, which will allow computer use and limited borrowing privileges (print materials ONLY.)

You will need:

1. Driver's license, State ID, or photo identification.

2. Payroll stub or letter from employer confirming Warren address of employer/school, and confirming employment/attendance status (on business/school letterhead).

3. Application, filled out and signed. (Please be sure to fill in the "Business/School Address" and "Business/School Telephone" fields.) (get it here)

FOR NON-RESIDENTS:

You can register for a Warren Public Library card as a non-resident, but you will need to pay a $200 per year membership fee. This fee will allow you all the rights and privileges of a resident member. It is non-refundable, not prorated, and may be used by any family member residing at address on card account.

You will need:

1. Driver's license, State ID, or photo identification.

2. $200 cash or check made out to "Warren Public Library."

MICHICARD:

The Warren Public Library participates in the Michicard program. This allows WPL cardholders to rent books from libraries outside of the county. Ask for a Michicard sticker when you apply for your card!
