from the Warren Public Library Policy Manual:

1. The library encourages the donation of materials. Acceptance of materials does not ensure inclusion in the collection. Criteria for selection as previously outlined will be utilized. It should be clearly understood that the librarian will make the final determination as to the best use of the donations. This may include adding the materials to the collection, giving them to the Friends of the Warren Public Library for their book sales, or disposing of said materials.

2. The library encourages monetary gifts. Make checks payable to the Friends of the Warren Public Library Donors may feel free to recommend areas of interest or even specific materials to be purchased. Acceptance of money means that materials purchased and their ultimate usage must be in keeping with the selection and circulation policies of the library.
