Memorials title

Funds for a book can be given to commemorate an anniversary; to salute a retiring co-worker; simply to say "Thank You" for a special favor or in memoriam. You can preserve the memory of a special person with a book gift. A book gift offers a fitting expression of sympathy and a lasting tribute that continues a person's influence in the community.

A gift to the Warren Public Library is one of the most satisfying ways of insuring that your gift will be cared for and will continue to be used. It can reflect the taste of the giver, or, in the case of memorials, of the individual in whose memory it is given. Moreover, it provides an excellent way for an organization or club to help the community with books or materials in the field in which it is expecially interested.

For example, a photographer might increase the library's holdings in the field of art, biographies, and natural science. A nationality group might provide for the purchase of language tapes, CDs, or other matrials from their native land. (If you do not wish to designate a specific subject, you can make your contribution in general for the purchase of books or materials.)

When a donation for a book is made, a bookplate will be placed in each book. The bookplate will give the name of the person in whose memory or honor the book was given and/or the name of the donor(s). A printable form is provided below for the information you wish to be written on your bookplate.
